The West Kootenay Landlords Society is proud to be sponsoring an invaluable workshop for landlords and property managers on Saturday, September 19th, 2026 from 9:00am to 5:00pm at the Prestige Lakeside Resort in Nelson. Our speaker will be Al Kemp of A. G. Kemp & Associates who is widely regarded as the leading authority on residential tenancies in BC.

Al will be covering some of the finer points of tenancy management, exploring scenarios, and taking a variety of questions from local landlords.

There will also be some updates on changes to the law and RTB policies and procedures, as well as what may be in store in the future.

You can also ask questions of our experts and network with other Kootenay area landlords.

Refreshments will be provided throughout the day, and our lunch break will be catered by the Prestige.

There is a $25.00 per person registration fee - payable by cash, cheque, money order, or Interac E-Transfer and must be received prior to the workshop to confirm your registration. This fee raises to $50.00 if you pay at the door on the day of the workshop.
